Bleeding After Colposcopy
Bleeding after colposcopy is not a common thing; if the patient complains on abnormal vaginal discharge, cryotherapy or LEEP procedure are used.
In some cases, the treatment is performed at the same time with examination. The examination also determines the best method for treatment. This procedure helps to confirm the negative Pap smear and identify where exactly the abnormal cells are.
Bleeding after colposcopy is not a common thing; if the patient complains on abnormal vaginal discharge, cryotherapy or LEEP procedure are used.

Vaginal Discharge, Cryotherapy
Don't use tampons and avoid sex at that time. After these operations, light spotting, dark discharge and pain are possible for several days. It may be necessary to take a sample (biopsy) from the affected area and send it to a laboratory for further analysis.
