Cryotherapy Cervix
A cryotherapy cervix procedure is performed, if the cervical cells are infected with human papilloma virus and have genital wart or dysplasia.
The tissues are frozen to -20 degrees. In the procedure, non-toxic gases (nitrous oxide carbon dioxid) are used. The term refers to a time proven ablative method of treating early stages of cervical dysplasia, which can be applied in outpatient settings.
A cryotherapy cervix procedure is performed, if the cervical cells are infected with human papilloma virus and have genital wart or dysplasia.

Injuries or complications are rare, there is a minimal chance of bleeding during or after the procedure, it is the least expensive treatment for CIN. It may be also used to treat HPV on the external genitalia for cosmetic purposes. A cryotherapy cervix procedure is performed, if the cervical cells are infected with human papilloma virus and have genital wart or dysplasia.
