Cervical Cancer Leep
A cervical cancer leep procedure sometimes leads to infertility, if venereal wart or cervical dysplasia were not cured at the proper time.
It can be performed in the office or in other outpatient settings. The procedure has several advantages over cold-knife and laser conization: rapidity, preservation of the margins for histologic evaluation, and virtual bloodlessness. A kind of conization performed with electrosurgical loop.

The equipment for the procedure consists of generator that creates high-frequency low-voltage electric current, and an insulated thin wire loop. The procedure is used for the diagnosis of positive cervical cytology and for treatment of CIN grades 2 and 3.
