Cervix Leep
A cervix leep procedure is often used to treat cervical dysplasia, cervical cancer and other disorders caused by HPV.
A common treatment for dysplasia is called a loop electrosurgical excision procedure. Dysplasia is a symptom of certain strains of the Human Papillomavirus, HPV, that is transmitted through skin-to-skin contact during intercourse. Millions of women a year have abnormal Pap smears due to cervical dysplasia.

Most women find the procedure to be painless, with some experience a slight increase in body temperature. It takes about 3-4 weeks for the cervical area to heal. This procedure consists of removing the abnormal cells by cutting away the tissue containing the dysplasia with an electric wire loop. A cervix leep procedure is often used to treat cervical dysplasia, cervical cancer and other disorders caused by HPV.
