Leep Dysplasia
A procedure of leep dysplasia is usually performed after a colposcopy exam that determines genital wart, dysplasia and other disorders.
A thin wire loop with electrical energy flowing through it is put into the vagina to remove a sample of abnormal tissues detected by the Pap smear test. This procedure is used for treatment of CIN 1 and CIN 2 and other minor disorders.

Colposcopy, Wart
Light bleeding, pain and discomfort are possible for several days after the procedure, but heavy abnormal discharge indicates complications. The procedure is performed in a physician’s office.
