Leep Excision
A leep excision is usually performed when there is some sort of abnormal cell tissue present, such as the penile wart or condyloma viruses.
A patient with a significantly abnormal Pap smear may benefit from this procedure. The treatment feels the same as the Pap test. Local anesthetic is injected or sprayed on to the cervix in order to make the operation the least uncomfortable for the patient.

This procedure stands for a special treatment, which is recommended as a treatment for abnormal cervical tissue or dysplasia. It is a successful procedure when it comes to pre-cancerous cell changes on the cervix of a patient. HPV is the primary cause of abnormal cervical tissue. A leep excision is usually performed when there is some sort of abnormal cell tissue present, such as the penile wart or condyloma viruses.
