What Is Leep
Questions such as "What is LEEP?" are often asked when symptoms like vaginal discharge and genital warts are involved requiring a leep or cone biopsy.
The procedure is used for treating cervical dysplasia. A special wire loop and low-energy current are used to remove abnormal tissue from the cervix. The procedure itself will take 10 to 30 minutes. The operation is effective and quite simple.
